Delhi6 Indian Kitchen & Bar is officially open in the former Lost Colony space along Justin Road.
The Indian fusion restaurant made the move due to an increase in demand after serving the community for five years at The Shops at Highland Village.
“I’m glad we made the move because it was needed,” said owner VJ Jain. “And we’re excited to get the crew back in action.”

DALLAS (KDAF) — Delhi6 Indian Kitchen & Bar has officially opened its new, larger __cpLocation in the former Lost Colony space on Justin Road.
The establishment had served the Highland Village community for the past five years at The Shops at Highland Village. Owner Vipul Jain made the decision to relocate and elevate the dining experience due to the increasing customer base and demand.

Delhi6 Indian Kitchen & Bar, an authentic Indian restaurant in Highland Village, has moved to a new, larger location at 2420 Justin Rd., in the former Lost Colony space. The restaurant was previously located at The Shops at Highland Village. Driven by growing demand and a loyal customer base, owner Vipul Jain made the decision to relocate and elevate the dining experience. A full-service bar is set to open soon, alongside an expanded menu that will feature Indian-Chinese specialties and creative fusion dishes. New offerings include wraps; tacos; pizzas; and an indulgent dessert selection, highlighted by cheesecakes infused with unique Indian flavors.

It was announced Wednesday that Delhi 6 Indian Kitchen has signed a retail lease in the Highland Village shopping center. It is expected to be located in the space that had been occupied by Potbelly Sandwich Shop, which just closed its doors last week. Delhi 6 is expected to open this winter. Read more about them here. The Shops at Highland Village has shifted from a big-box store development to a mom-and-pop shop destination in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, two years later, five new local shops have opened or will open in the shopping center in the coming year, with spaces for lease still up for grabs, The Shops General Manager Ravi Wadhwa said. “We shifted toward local tenants. That was our strategy,” Wadhwa said. “We were able to get in more local tenants, and supporting locals is something our community appreciates and prioritizes.” The shift comes as shopping patterns changed during the pandemic.
